Smith for Springfield at Harlan Days

Harlan Days is almost here, and I'm proud that Smith for Springfield will be part of it this year.

We're sponsoring the festival's t-shirt giveaway, and you'll see us represented in the parade. Look for the green and gold — that's us. We'll also have a booth set up all weekend with campaign information — stop by for a yard sign or to learn more about where I stand on financial transparency, accountable stewardship, and keeping the township open and connected to residents.

I won't be in attendance in person this year. I made the commitment to lead our Boy Scout troop's high-adventure trip to Philmont in New Mexico long before I decided to run for Springfield Township trustee to serve my neighbors. Scouting has been part of my life since I was a kid, and keeping that commitment to those boys is part of the same integrity I want to bring to the township.

The campaign will be well represented all weekend, and I'll be back home shortly after. I hope you'll stop by the booth, enjoy the parade, and grab some information about where I stand.
