Supporting the Spirit of Woodlan
One of the things that makes Springfield Township special is what our kids and families build with almost nothing. The Spirit of Woodlan Marching Band has competed at the Indiana State Finals since 1993, finishing 7th in the state last year, without a single dollar of school funding. Every uniform, every competition entry, every mile of transportation comes from this community.
They've launched a 2026 season GoFundMe with a goal of $15,000 for a new equipment trailer and planning ahead for new uniforms. This is our community investing in our kids.
