Two Schools, One Township
School boundary map of Springfield Township.
Springfield Township students attend either Leo or Woodlan High School. About one third of our land area sits in the Leo district, and the rest is in Woodlan’s.
I know this firsthand. Our house is in the Woodlan district, but it was in the Leo district before the high school boundary changes. Our oldest children attended Harlan Elementary, and we chose to keep all of our children in the Leo district. Two of them graduated from Leo, in 2017 and 2019, and our youngest is a junior there now.
Both schools are great schools, and both have music programs that are growing and excelling. This past weekend, both the Leo and Woodlan marching bands qualified for Semi-State. Congratulations to the students, directors, and band families at both schools.
Whichever school your kids call home, they are Springfield Township kids, and I’m proud of them.
